Senior Visualization Engineer

🤖Responsibilities:

As a Senior Visualization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in Reporting and Visualization for Analytics that power a data-driven transformation of our standard business processes across channels and organizations. You will develop and deploy solutions to maximize their value and increase consumer satisfaction. You will work with massive datasets, develop & optimize data solutions, and ensure data availability,reliability, and performance. Your expertise in SAP Business Objects 4.x, Tableau, Analysis for Office (AFO), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Fiori will be instrumental in our mission to leverage data for business insights.

Accountable for developing,maintaining, and enhancing business reports, and analytics using SAP Business Objects 4. 1 and above.

Creating and maintaining BO Universes using UDT and IDT (Universe Design Tool, lnformation Design Tool) with emphasis in mapping of new structures, derived tables, Contexts, List of values and aggregate awareness.

Promotion of reports/universes/users along with security settings from lower to higher-level environments following Change Management processes.

Maintaining BO architecture documentation, administration, upgrade, and patching support. Understanding of Business Objects Enterprise Architecture, familiar with the use of CCM & CMC, lnstance Manager, Promotion Manager, Connections, Security and Scheduling.

Advanced Microsoft SQL scripting skills and experience in developing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.

lmplement security by creating user groups, grantingaccess to BO based applications to users and adding security restrictions (application level,folder level, and object level) based on user profile and user groups.

Conduct thorough end-to-end testing of self-developed reports using multiple test cases to ensure data accuracy, integrity,and consistency in adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Develop new and maintain existing Tableau dashboards that address the Business requirements.

Use HANA and other database querying tools to connect directly in Tableau to generate powerful,scalable dashboards.

Generate powerful data visualizations that ‘tell a story’ through the dashboard.

Create user guides and training material so users understand how toleverage and use the tools.

Designingand creating visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

Connecting Power BI to various data sources and configuring data refresh schedules far accurate data reporting.

Optimizing Power BI reports and dashboards far improved performance and query efficiency.

Able to perform independent analysis of data related issues/enhancement by performing analysis of BW Analytics report in WEBI I Analysis Office navigating to source of data inconsistency.

Experience with other reporting tools – SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Analysis far Office (AFO}.

Knowledge in SAP 54/HANA CDS Views far consumption in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC}.

Understanding of SAP S4HANA embedded analytics capabilities & Fiori.

Understanding of SAP Analytics on Cloud products.

Optimize solutions to improve performance and scalability.

lmplement and enforce data governance practices, ensuring data quality,security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Minimum requirements

🤸‍♀️Hard Skills

Experience in the Area

3+ years of experience in SAP Business Objects 4.x is must.

Mínimum 2+ years of experience in Tableau.

Exposure of using Analysis for Office (AFO}.

Exposure in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC} far reporting.

Technical exposure in SAP BW on HANA Modelling is a plus.

Exposure in SAP 54/HANA CDS Views far consumption in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC}

Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodology principles.

Strong written / verbal communication and presentation skills.

Excel ent relationship and team building skills.

The ability to work with alllevels of staff &leadership.
