Requisitos mínimos
🤖 Responsabilities:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer / Snowflake developer to join our Tech team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in SQL, Snowflake and Matillion. The incumbent for the position is expected to deliver but not limited to the following responsibilities:
▪ Identify and suggest improvements/enhancements to optimize nightly ETL processing.
▪ The data engineer will be working in the direction of the Data Engineering Manager.
▪ The person should be a self-starter, actively seek clarification if needed, and work independently.
▪ The person will work closely with offshore/onsite teams as needed to coordinate, execute projects and report status back to Client as required
▪ Development projects, working on the building/ managing / enhancements of data pipelines & ETL processes, in addition to assisting building dashboards in Power BI , will include activities such as:
Requirements gathering from business stakeholders
Understanding of existing data sources
Identifying new data sources
Providing requirements to engineering teams for ingestion of new data sources, updates to existing data sets, etc.
Testing
UAT to ensure dashboards meet the requirements of business users.
Minimum requirements
🤸♀️Hard Skills
Experience in the Area
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
▪ +5 years of experience as Data Engineer
▪ +4 years of hand-on experience in Snowflake is a must
▪ Experience in SQL
▪ Experience working with Matillion is a must
▪ Exposure to ETL. Understanding of ETL/SFTP Processing, Query/Procedure writing.
▪ Good communication
▪ Stakeholder management
▪ Able to understand technical discussion & be an individual contributor
▪ Business understanding
▪ Experience with DBT tools is a plus
▪ Exposure to Azure is a plus
▪ Advanced English

Strong communication skills, with the ability to align the organization around complex technical decisions
